Terms & responsible play
The plain-language rules of using Trustlotto. Read this before you play — it matters more here than on most sites, since a blockchain doesn't offer a "contact support to reverse it" button.
Play responsibly
Trustlotto is entertainment, not income. Only ever play with money you can afford to lose, never money set aside for essentials. If playing ever stops feeling fun, or starts feeling like something you can't stop, step away — and consider reaching out to BeGambleAware or the National Council on Problem Gambling, both free and independent of Trustlotto.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age for lottery or gambling-style participation where you live if that's higher, to use Trustlotto. By playing, you're confirming that's true and that participating is legal where you're located — that's on you to check, since we can't verify it for every jurisdiction. Trustlotto is not offered in jurisdictions where real-money online lottery or games of chance are prohibited, and we may restrict access from locations we're required to.
Trustlotto's role
Trustlotto is software: a set of open-source smart contracts that run a public, automated draw, plus a website that lets you interact with them. It doesn't run the draw (a decentralized randomness network does), doesn't hold your money at any point, doesn't choose winners, and doesn't act as a bookmaker, broker, or counterparty to your play. We built the tools and created the opportunity to play — the decision to play, and every transaction you sign, is yours alone, made of your own free will. We don't assume responsibility for the outcome of that decision, the same way a card manufacturer doesn't assume responsibility for how a game is played with its cards.
This is a game of chance
Buying a ticket gets you a shot at a prize decided by a public, checkable random process — it does not guarantee a win, and past draws say nothing about future ones. Nothing on Trustlotto is investment advice, and USDT held or earned here isn't a promise of future value.
Your wallet, your responsibility
Trustlotto never holds your funds or your wallet's private keys — every dollar you play with sits in a public smart contract, not with us. You're responsible for keeping your own wallet and recovery phrase safe. If you lose access to your wallet, we have no way to recover it or anything in it.
How money moves
Every ticket's price splits automatically by fixed, public rules: into the prize pool, invite earnings, promotions, and running costs — the exact live split is always shown on the ticket page. Draws, payouts, and invite earnings are executed by smart contract, not approved by us case-by-case.
Taxes on winnings
Tax withholding on prizes is currently set to 0% — nothing is withheld from a win, and you're responsible for reporting and paying any tax owed on it in your own jurisdiction, the same as with any other income. The smart contract has a built-in, publicly visible withholding rate for this exact purpose, read live right here rather than just claimed in writing; if we're ever required to withhold at source in a market Trustlotto operates in, that rate would be turned on and disclosed here, and would only apply to draws that happen after the change — never retroactively to a prize you'd already won.
Inviting friends
Invite earnings are a share of ticket purchases made by people in your invite chain, paid automatically by contract rules that are the same for everyone and can't be gamed by self-referral or loops. Nothing here is a promise of income, and results depend entirely on whether the people you invite choose to play.
Fair play
Attempting to manipulate draws, exploit the contracts, or abuse the invite system is against these terms. Draw and invite logic is enforced automatically on-chain, and abuse patterns may be reviewed and acted on where the platform has discretion to do so (for example, promotional or discretionary funds).
No warranty
Trustlotto is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose, and blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed — double-check addresses and amounts before you confirm anything in your wallet.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Trustlotto and the people who built it aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the platform, including lost funds from wallet mismanagement, network issues, or smart contract risk inherent to any blockchain application.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Trustlotto after an update means you accept the current version, which will always be posted here with its effective date.
